Vinyl.

Yes folks, this is correct. The almighty Ivory Antler will be doing a 2xLP gatefold vinyl of The Path of Liberation...Brand new artwork and vinyl only master. Super limited. Should be colored and black vinyl editions available. Release is planned for early 2012.

When the pre-order is announced, be sure to order, this release will be very limited and most likely not repressed.

Until next time...

:LERUS:

Hey hey, back again to the pit of Nji...

So as promised, here is ye ol' update:

1) Agni Yoga orders have been almost completely shipped and seem to be getting very good responses from our listeners. Thank you for not only ordering, supporting, but also for keeping an open mind. The first review for the album is in and looks pretty good from what we can tell: http://dontcountonitreviews.blogspot.com/2011/11/njiqahdda-disciples-of-flame-agni-yoga.html

Thanks to Ian and DCOIR for the kind words and support.

2) :Lerus: is coming out soon. This was a strange moment for us, considering a good friend of ours decided it was best to take his own life and in that, his departure created life in the form of art. This release is completely dedicated to his life and memory. It also contains the only Nji song we have ever created that we almost cannot listen to because of the emotional impact on us. Strange to admit this, but its true.

3) A ton of re-issues are coming, we had no idea that these albums had been out of print as long as they had, so after numerous requests, we will be bringing them back into print.

There will be more info coming soon, sooner than last time anyway. Stay tuned, we have much to discuss...

Everything Is Fire(d).

Yeah, so...

There have been a looooooooot of things happening as of late, thus our fashionable delay in information. Suicides of friends, loss of jobs, bouts of homelessness, illness, etc.

Things have been chaos. Regardless, there will be a nice long update regarding Njiijn activities within the next few days.

Until then...

They are going quick and will be painstakingly assembled by us personally. We will have pics of the box-set posted once everything is together.

Now or never.

Ruins Of Osstryx.

http://www.mediafire.com/?qnv1j714eq4w666

This is a free download of a track that did not make it to the newest Njiijn album - Templii Au Osstryx. Simply put, this track was much noisier and abrasive than the rest of the album, so we decided to omit it. Now its for you to have, free of charge. Spread to all your friends, enemies, etc.

RIP.

RIP Ryan Dunn of Jackass/CKY. Thanks for years of dumb humor (which we enjoyed greatly) but also one more reason for people to understand the crucial importance of NOT drinking and driving.

Utech & The Hideout.

Had a KILLER time at Utech Fest over the weekend. Another great time was also had yesterday at the Hideout; got to hang with Aaron Turner, Faith Coloccia (aka Mamiffer) and the Locrian folk. If this tour comes to your town...GO.

Things Part 2.

Written by a close friend of our band and something to think about; http://landofsomeotherorder.blogspot.com/2011/05/osama-bin-laden-is-now-dead-according.html

Things.

First off, we will speak briefly of the hysteria surrounding the whole Osama Bin Laden murder. I know people do not come to Njiijn Arts for politics and/or news, but this is our blog, so deal with it.

Simply put; we call BS on the whole Bin Laden thing. Not that its doubtful that American military forces could take him out in that manner, but everything surrounding it screams 'lie'. Economy = bad, public opinion of Obama = bad, public opinion of America = bad, no photographic evidence for public consumption of death, etc...what can we do to boost morale? Lie about the death of a radical religious scum-bucket. We do not buy it at all.

On to more musical things...we have 2 new (as far as we know, the ONLY) reviews of the newest Njiqahdda and Oaks of Bethel releases. Very well done and published by a killer review website. Be sure to check it out for tons of reviews of new music.

Royalty.

Not a single person, outside of the 'respective' families/friends, should give a crap about this 'royal wedding' garbage. You think they care if your bills get paid, get a life threatening illness or anything of the sort? Absolutely not. Do you think they care about the epically devastating tornadoes ripping apart the southern US? No way.

Do not waste your time or energy with these 'celebrities' or their meaningless, pathetic lives. Get away from your television and make a difference.

Worry about your own life.

The Path...

CDs are slated to arrive here Monday. Of course, assuming nothing stupid happens with shipping (which as anyone knows, CAN in fact happen). Since they are slated to arrive Monday after typical USPS hours, we will spend Monday packing up the box-sets and will ship them all on Tuesday.

If all works as planned, Tuesday is the day to finally get this thing in your hands. If anything changes, we will be sure to announce it.

Updates and things of updated nature.

Greetings to all and to all a good morning (central time in these parts). A few updates to speak of, so shall we speak? We shall.

First, rumor has it that The Path...CDs should be arriving to the EEE office either this week OR next week. Once they come in, box-sets will be dispatched immediately. Both this page AND the EEE site will be updated once this sets into motion.

Second, we have completed our first post-Path release entitled 'Parallaxis'. It has nothing to do with computers for those who may ask. From ye ol' Wikipedia;

"Parallax is an apparent displacement or difference in the apparent position of an object viewed along two different lines of sight, and is measured by the angle or semi-angle of inclination between those two lines. The term is derived from the Greek παράλλαξις (parallaxis), meaning "alteration". Nearby objects have a larger parallax than more distant objects when observed from different positions, so parallax can be used to determine distances."

This release sees us traversing into more melodic and (gasp) symphonic territory. Deal with it. Will be up for pre-order at EEE sometime very soon.

Third (and final update statement for today), once in a good while we get something that takes us aback. This was one of those moments. We were graced by two lovely folk from DeKalb a while back when we were working a merch table at the Alcest concert in Chicago, lovely people. We were even more surprised to discover they had put a little art project together for Njiqahdda. Flattered? You bet your bloody bottom we are.

To think that anyone would take time out of their busy day to dedicate/create something purely out of the fact that we had created something is a bit mind-bending. But flattering and incredibly humbling to say the least. We would like to thank Savannah Ramsey for putting this together (Robert for supplying the music, Savannah for supplying the artistry). We are your humble servants.

A statement regarding this piece from Savannah Ramsey;

"This piece of work was truly organic. I put on the headphones, listening to Njiqahdda. My husband wanted some artwork inspired by the music. I wasn’t expecting to lose myself in it, but the music guided my hand. The whole process took a life of it’s own for about three hours, evolving with each tempo change. It was like free association with a paintbrush. I started to see what it was becoming, where it was going. I threw down the paintbrushes and let loose with the palette knife. All I could see was controlled chaos, which is what we are as beings on an elemental level. Without life there is no understanding, no knowledge, and without death there’s no transcendence to a higher existence of being, and we can’t know what it means to be alive.
Life is represented at the top right and death at the bottom left. Life has only a small spark of light, but it is strong. Death is not supposed to be this looming ominous figure; it just exists. Both life and death are floating together in a primordial space. The rings around them intertwine like two atoms dancing together in the beginning of time. They are coming together sharing their electrons (likeness) to form a chemical bond. It is the truth we know that grounds us; we live and we die, and life will continue on, no matter how small the spark."

Well, that is all for now, until next time...keep your nose clean and keep your 3-punch combos quick and strong.

Updates on The Path...

There were some issues at the pressing plant that have caused a brief delay in the album release. If all continues to work well, the new album + box sets will be ready to ship in approximately 2 weeks. Apologies to all who have patiently waited, but we can assure you that your patience will be rewarded when the album reaches you.

Let's Start a War...

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/af_libya

As if things were not frustrating enough in the US...Let us go fight a war we have nothing to do with. Oh wait, OIL. We need to keep our hands out of the rest of the world's issues. We have enough problems at home. Fix the economy, health care, housing market...Not worry about other pointless crap.

Assistance.

Hello there. Two things, first off we have another interview up at The Inarguable; http://theinarguable.blogspot.com/2011/03/interview-with-njiqahdda.html

Second, our studio computer managed to hit the skids during a recording session last evening. From what we can tell, in its current state, it is beyond repair. We are not usually the kind of people to ask for help with anything, but in this case, we have no option. Either through buying more stuff at EEE or simply providing a donation (one cent or one hundred dollars, either way we would be incredibly grateful), any help you can provide us would be of the utmost appreciation. We can say this for sure; anyone who helps will not go unrewarded, one way or another we will repay your good deed to us.

If donating, please send funds to eeerecordings@yahoo.com via Paypal (please note that it is a donation) or simply go to the EEE site and buy some albums.

Thank you to anyone in advance who helps us out with this.

Box-sets.

We will be taking orders for the box-set edition of 'The Path...' for approximately 1 more week. We have only a small amount of them left (you can count the amount on one hand), so if you are waiting, please understand that once they are gone, they are gone. No re-issues.

Help erase the music industry from the pages of history.

Boycott major record labels. Boycott pop-culture 'music' and 'art' for it is surely neither of these things. Even more importantly, boycott so-called 'major independent' record labels (you know who they are) who pretend to care about music/art, but as with their larger capitalist cronies, only care about money. Extreme art is not something to be sold in major retailers and get huge press exposure. Do not be fooled by these so-called 'extreme' metal bands who sign to big labels, if only for 'exposure'. Do it yourself and create a real legacy. Do not continue to support these money hungry, greed driven destructionists. Only we (and you; those who truly care about art) can end the music, television and mass media industries.

Support real underground record labels, distributors and art hubs. Those who truly care about art and the artists who create it.

2011 Update #1.

First of all, happy 2011 for those into that kind of thing. Thanks for sticking around.

1) January 2011 marks the 6-year anniversary for our band. Not much, but we are proud/thankful nonetheless.

2) Finishing up the new album, should hopefully be released in March on Pagan Flames. Expect a super limited package to arise once the album is released.

3) EEE Recordings will be moving very soon to eeerecordings.com, after finding a much better web service, we are making the move shortly. All email contacts and such WILL change.

4) We have some new stuff available; Oaks Of Bethel, Nji, Funeral Eclipse...you can find those at EEE right now.

That concludes yet another update. Until the next one, keep searching and stay alive.
